The brief

HUMMIN approached me to build their Shopify storefront from the ground up to support the launch of their golf swag brand. The store needed to showcase the product line, from hats and gloves to apparel, with clean product and collection pages, lifestyle imagery that reflects the brand, and an email sign-up to build an early community. As a new small business venture, it was rewarding to watch the vision come to life as a fully realized e-commerce store. Since launch, I’ve continued to support Hummin with back-end updates and ongoing store maintenance when needed.

The challenge

The primary challenge was delivering a polished Shopify store within the tight budget of a startup, while wearing multiple hats to make sure the final product aligned with HUMMIN’s vision. That meant balancing design, setup and content so the store looked established from launch day, without the cost of a larger agency build.
