03 / Process

How a project runs

01

Brief

A quick call or email about what you need, when, and your budget. Branding projects start with a kick-off questionnaire.

02

Quote

A clear estimate and timeline before any work starts.

03

Design and revise

Concepts first, then feedback rounds and refinement until it’s right.

04

Files and support

Print-ready and web-ready files, plus help after launch.

04 / Questions

Good to know

Not sure which option fits?

Starting with a project is usually the best way in. It gives us a chance to see how we work together and make sure we’re on the same page. Once we have a sense of how much design you need each month, we can look at whether a retainer makes sense.

No, retainer hours reset each month. That said, it’s rarely an issue. You’ll get email reminders throughout the month so there’s always time to use them.

I keep this simple. Revisions are discussed up front and tailored to what each project needs. If they start to add up, we’ll talk before anything changes, and an hourly rate would apply from there. In my many years of freelancing, it’s never been an issue.

Print-ready PDFs, web-ready images, and any other file types required once the project is paid in full.
